Haircuts, curly cuts & blowouts

Every cut starts with a real consultation: how you wear your hair, how much time you give it in the morning, and photos if you have them. Then a wash at the bowl, the cut, and a finish we teach you to recreate.

What’s included

  • Consultation and wash with scalp massage
  • Cut wet or dry, whichever suits your hair
  • Finish and a quick how-to for home
  • Free fringe trims between cuts

How often: Every 6–8 weeks for short styles and bobs, 10–12 weeks for long hair.

Pricing questions

Asked at the front desk

How much does balayage cost in Salt Lake City?

At Gilt & Fade, balayage is $190 with a Stylist, $230 with a Senior and $270 with a Master, including toner and a blow-dry. Very long or thick hair may need extra time; we confirm at your consultation.

Do you cut curly hair dry?

Usually, yes. Tasha cuts curls dry, curl by curl, so she can see how each one falls. Come with your hair clean and styled as you normally wear it, without a ponytail.

How long does a fade take?

About 45 minutes, including the razor line-up. Add a beard trim and it’s about an hour.

Do I need to book a consultation for color correction?

Yes. Correction is priced after a free consultation, because it depends on your history and goals. Most corrections take one long visit; some need two.
